But does evil exist?

I suppose…when we believe it’s not possible.

For it resides in our arrogance to ignore dark horrors we see within,

Yet, it is by radical faith in purest light, that evil will first blind others.

But honest love, yes,

That’s a true journey,

A flow with our spirit,

A change in your soul,

A being within a body,

Not warring of duality,

When two can be one,

To understand us three.

For your body and spirit are set apart,

As walking noon and a sleeping night,

But in external resistance they forge,

By a soul stringing them together.

I’m not a fact-checked journalist,

Nor a detailed academic rewrite,

Just a roaming mess with a blog,

Who’s got sharp kitty cat claws,

And a rather dumbfounded look,

Cause I just can’t understand why.

Do you like a deep scratch?

Cause I purr so warmly too,

And will blink softly at you,

If you let my digits in house,

To lap, nap and knead you.

Look at that youthful country kitty, running fast from crisis to crisis,

Thinking its eager presence wasn’t part of the maddening chaos!
