A stubborn common faith, is something more durable than a consumptive blitzing power.
Power, and its cruel economic adherents of greed and division,
Will always try manipulate and purchase broad faith for its uses,
But faith is the operating system in which humans live through,
Just as greed finds stronghold in the divinity of personal egoism,
And ego discovers expression by an accumulation of knowledge,
And knowing is out of faith relation forming of a shared custom.
But those that live for accumulation of power, can’t understand the difference.
Faith is the system.
What else could keep this process staying - from the level of human scale to monopolistic bind?
Do we think it has been the accumulation of power? Or some miraculous organization of elites?
Or do we acknowledge it as all the bits that resonate into the pattern that the system may take?
Faith is a shared belief of cosmos - power has no beliefs,
It is individualism through and through without any goal,
Full of wandering shadows who are spirits of themselves,
It is ever-altering to be what a moment needs, and is blind,
At times, acting as a cancer cell attacking its hosting body.
Faith is a hard rock, as power is flowing water,
But water can only wear down a rock's surface,
As the sun’s fire dries liquid churning it into rain,
And winds blow life across a planet as mixture.
And a moment of mass power accumulation,
That dark swirling storm pulling all to its core,
Is always the ending rotation of greed’s desire,
Drilling hard against a rock to dissipate round.
So what is your faith?
For this chapter of desire is closed,
And we now enter a time of wrath.
We have not become who we need,
We have broken each other in greed,
We have poisoned this planets needs.
Tell me again, what is your faith,
What rock shall you choose to stand upon?
For I’ve pointed at the light’s source and brought forth wholeness to usher there as one,
And I’ve sacrificed for dead gods to idealize pristine cities caring equally for each citizen,
And I’ve slaved to monument a body’s wellness into foundations of a shared pantheon,
And I’ve peered inside the depths of mind letting it calm into civilization’s urban garden,
And I’ve opened temples to store knowledge of the ways the sun and moon grew earth,
And I’ve broken cyclic divisionary walls withholding an unleashing of communal healing,
And I’ve gazed before stars to set time into stone singing tone to a moments agreement,
And I’ve danced along the planet’s surface learning voices of all its creatures and plants,
And I’ve displayed bizarrely before gatherings to warn of the destruction of environments,
And I’ve loyally served a community to safeguard lands descending to death’s tragedies,
And I’ve let my mind wander so far from my body, that when returned, I was transformed,
And I’ve bowed to honor the spirits and retell tales as I’ve travelled by their shrined totem,
And I’ve listened to my elders to patiently guide to a future beyond their shared possibility,
And for this age, I shall let flow knowledge of time's nihilism, so a world’s future is visioned.
So what is your faith,
What rock shall you proclaim,
And how will we believe together as one?
But stand against this humane need,
And bloody revolution do you power.
But I say, let the people live shared faith,
Let them rise and proclaim it out steadfast,
Let them stomp boots for a needed justice,
Chanting free-speak by democracy of voices,
Setting rights of personal expressive choices,
Liberation through a shared green economy,
And inclusion in a faithful cosmic community,
Are how we may live peaceful into perpetuity.
The people will find their release,
So why do you deny their needs,
Why do you pressure this tank?
It’s obvious what a universal need is,
But you have forgotten their bodies,
In order to try and control their minds.
If you cannot flow with humane energy,
Finding goal following common streams,
Offering peoples a release of frustration,
Then cruel forces will unite military boots,
Finding scapegoats to rage their lies upon.
If the moral arc of the universe is long, bending towards justice,
Then it must also mean a majority of the people are good too.
And that is my faith, which flows into an honest democracy,
For goodness must be allowed flow together, to speak truths,
But truth need be stomped quake round power’s stubbornness,
Letting masses meet each other to declare for a greater good,
And we must be stubbornly bold to persist within our resistance,
To a see new age come, charting a system set in structural ethics,
So that individuals may be liberated to live in wholesome commune.
Tell me lastly, what is your faith,
And what rock shall you choose?
