My hope?
That a conference of uniting nations, acknowledging deep despair of an on-going genocide,
Will not just speak as lawyers with useless words, brattling error about unobtainable borders,
But will put on their blue hats of peacekeeping, and intervene heroically in a horrific situation.
Recognition will be meaningless without a force complying cessation of a rolling death march.
Does anyone believe a marauding murderous nation will suddenly stop obliteration once it has begun?
Do we believe it will have a miraculous realization and change the speed of its horrific genocidal ways?
Do we believe a civil warring empire and its purchased political class, can lead in the disaster it created?
And do we believe a people concentrated by high-tech gunpoint, left to starve, can negotiate ceasefire?
Should we not have a global agreement of international occupation for a time, to prevent a death spiral?
Doing so, not only for the sake of the peoples of genocide, but for a region warming to enflame a world?
My fear?
That a flailing empire will continue sending bombs to murder, disrupting international coordination,
That it will operate through vassal states to wage its wars upon a world full of righteous indignation,
Or that its supremacist trade leagues and weaponeers will march mercenaries operating for greed.
A peacekeeping force must shield, facilitate urban reconstruction, mediate to a governing form.
Does anyone believe the authorities emerging from greed, profiting on endless despair, can help?
Will they ever bring humane sanity to the cruelty arising from their thievery, pillage and hoarding?
And wouldn’t the worst option be for a bloated biased nation to oversee such complicated choices?
And especially unjust, to expect a brutalized people, with only rocks to throw, to defend themselves?
It must be an international response, understanding peacekeeping force as requirement to protection,
Knowing an empire heavily corrupted by its glorious delusion and loyalistic blind spots, cannot lead this.
For the time has at last come, for the voices of the world to stand as one,
To repudiate fury of this raging empire, and to draft humane agreements,
Focused on globally shared ethics beyond twisting monetary corruption,
Not waiting for a civil war to end, or for it act as a policing authority again,
While genocide is encouraged by its oligarchy and supremacist networks.
For it is these nation-state behemoths we all must wrestle,
Who use their oversized influence to distort a worlds reality,
Exporting their fascist underpinnings like raiding gangsters,
Overleveraged capitals immiserating others to their system.
We must reaffirm the usefulness of international coordination and agreement,
We must replenish inner nation chatter, its skillsets, and bodies willing to serve,
Empowering it with new forms of economic mandate and peacekeeping force,
Expanding declarations of universalizing humane rights and judicial oversight,
So a corrupt empire never infringes upon a world of many peoples and nations,
So this century's dark lesson of scapegoating to extermination is not repeated,
And finally, to prepare endeavour for a fast-approaching catastrophe of nature,
By continuing processes of mutual global interconnection and eco-cooperation.
But let us see each other for what we are and not, let us all walk hand in hand,
I try speak no lies, and my knowledge is small, yet I can see a planet improved.
And a promised world is within our time, a lush paradise growing green around,
Every ecology, rock, river, microbe, plant, animal and person existing holistically,
If we free nature’s intelligence, ingrained in its will to thrive, to guide wiser ways,
If we can look within and choose to feel love expanding around and through all,
For those dearest us, the community surrounding, and environment supporting.
But how long will we wait for a gangster empire to find its soul and depose a dicktator?
How much should we expect a highly weaponized nation to stop a dislocating bloodlet?
And how many need die before we see peackeeping force as the initiator to ceasefire?
But let the blood of this century speak volumes of the dark side of rampant greed,
And let a world reaffirm together as one, that love and peace are our future come,
And those waging death's wars to control, shall not take part as respected voices.
For from ruins of a greedy empire, are we freed to construct a better world together,
One unity of ecology, many lands singing many songs, from the voice of we humane.
We need no empire's helmeted legions and vast military bases,
Just the peaceful hands shielding lands, heads of soft blue hats.
